About
This page is a working prototype of Cogentis AI in action.
Most AI systems generate polished text first and worry about truth later. Cogentis AI works the other way around.
It starts with sources. It collects structured and unstructured information about places, extracts traceable facts, connects them into a knowledge graph, and only then uses that graph to generate descriptions, explanations, and relationships.
In this prototype, each place is more than a point on a map. It becomes a node in a larger network of architecture, history, people, ideas, and cultural context.
The data comes from sources such as OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, Wikipedia, and curated human input. Facts are not treated as anonymous output. They carry provenance, confidence, and status, which makes the resulting knowledge more transparent and easier to inspect.
This is not a finished product and it does not pretend to be one. It is an early, working demonstration of a different approach: source-grounded, explainable knowledge generation.
That is the role of Cogentis AI. And this is how it gives meaning to Exploristo.
What this prototype demonstrates
- source-based knowledge ingestion
- fact extraction with provenance
- knowledge graph construction
- explainable links between places
- knowledge-grounded content generation
